STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education:

  • Advanced university degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Public Administration or related areas or a first university degree with additional years of related work experience or trainings/courses.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in development, coordination and facilitation of talent management programs, with at least the 3 most recent years in leading large scale global talent management strategy and solutions;
  • Experience in management of diverse teams.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Sound theoretical understanding of HR concepts and principles with a broad knowledge of best practices, techniques and processes and specialised knowledge in a specific area;
  • A successful track record of implementing change efforts in a global organization with widely decentralized workforce and designing talent management programmes, including talent reviews, succession planning and career planning
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Ability to design develop, manage and implement HR policies, procedures and new programmes

Language:

  • Fluency in oral and written English (level C) with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
