JOB PURPOSE
The selected candidate will be assisting the WFP South-South and triangular cooperation with the following key duties:

Capturing evidence and systematizing best practices of WFP supported South-South initiatives in different thematic areas of WFP’s work.
- Support content development and web design to develop an online version of WFP’s guide and toolbox on managing South-South projects for WFP Country Offices.
- Support the development of knowledge sharing initiatives with internal and external partners to facilitate South-South learning on how to achieve zero hunger.

Preparation of communication and advocacy material.

Management of campaigns and e-discussions for WFP’s community of practice on South-South Cooperation.

Perform any other duties related to this topic in the Division, as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled and have attended University courses in the last 12 months inclusive of having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or have recently graduated in the last 12 months with a Master’s degree in international affairs or development studies, international business, social science, or any other relevant fields (preferably related to environment, agriculture, food security, nutrition);
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
- Fluent in English;
- Experience in web and graphic design, web development and social media platforms is an asset;
- Good analytical, drafting and writing skills;
- Excellent teamwork skills
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP up to the amount of US$700 per month depending on the duty station. (The current amount for Rome is around $600)
- WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, travel to and from WFP internship location, necessary visas and other related costs.
