ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill an internship position (Digital Assistant in Individual Fundraising – Reporting & Analysis) under the WFP Private Partnership Division. The position will be based at our Headquarters in Rome, Italy. The Internship will be for an initial period of 6 months starting in February 2017
JOB PURPOSE
This is a position for a self-starter – with a passion for developing a career in fundraising from Individuals. Also required is a keen interest in WFP’s work.
The Digital Assistant in Individual Fundraising – Reporting & Analysis – will be responsible for the following duties:
Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop and update the Individual’s results dashboard – the hub of the Individual Team’s reporting requirements;
- Analyse data across multiple platforms to produce and deliver accurate and informative regular reporting, including: monthly finance reports and reconciliation, email marketing & campaign reports, donor tracking, trends and KPI tracking, daily and monthly reports;
- Respond to reporting requests from partners including setting up and managing reporting processes for corporate platforms and Priceless Causes;
- Coordinate with Papilla – our email management supplier – to ensure that reports are developed and delivered on time and accurate;
- Manage daily fraud checking and refunds;
Google Analytics:
- Be the key focal point for Google Analytics – including tracking and analysis of income and trends for individuals on the website;
Research:
- Be key focal point for ‘mystery shopping’ i.e. setting up a new process for mystery shopping – capturing best practice of donor journey’s and donor stewardship;
Support and back up to the team:
- Respond to requests from donor for information e.g. by email
- Support the Individual Fundraising Team by assisting with developing assets when required, e.g. emails, conversion pages etc;
- Support team-related tasks and manage other short-term projects upon request.
