Requirements:
Candidates must possess a degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations or related fields, and have a sound interest in human rights, asylum and/or immigration issues. Ability to work independently, initiative and flexibility are also required.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Monitoring the development of asylum and immigration legislation
- Conducting research and gathering information
- Assisting in the update/revision or draft of position papers and letters concerning
protection and refugee status determination
- Providing support in activities of development and implementation of project or events
- Participating in coordination activities of the Protection Unit
- The Intern will receive training and support in assigned tasks
